Peter has made videos as a hobby for the past 20 years; as people gradually learned of his developing craft, he has been asked to create videos for various businesses and nonprofit organizations. One of the reasons Peter started Reefcombers Studios was to alleviate some of the frustrations associated with poor product marketing. As a business owner himself, Peter understands the importance of efficient and cost-effective means of advertising and promotion. In his opinion, “So much money is wasted, giving the public the wrong message.”
Robert Barkley has over thirty years’ experience with video and media production. He has worked extensively as photography director on independent feature films and music videos. He has also been the main camera operator for hundreds of televised live events and corporate media projects. He now consults with Reefcombers Studios and writes scripts and adventure novels.
Ralph’s first paying writing gig was banging out scripts and continuity for KWSU Radio in Pullman for the memorable wage of $2.00 per hour, an amount that steered him to more lucrative career choices. He has written articles for the local publication My Edmonds News on a variety of issues, legal and otherwise, of concern to seniors and their families. It seems he’s come full circle to writing scripts and continuity for Reefcombers Studios.
Yvonne Alexander-Smith’s college study was in the field of forest management. However, she spent most of her professional career indoors as a researcher and technical editor for a real estate appraisal firm. She now applies her expertise in storytelling, editing and quality control as a copy/scriptwriter for Reefcombers Studio.
Jennifer Price has been acting in the Puget Sound area for over 30 years. She has worked in television, voiceover, movies, dramatic and musical theater. Jennifer enjoys teaching workshops and classes in acting and character development. She has taught improvisation, team building and communication workshops to businesses, students and non -profit organizations.
Pat Shields owned a locally-based training and consulting business and was a member of several non-profit community groups. The business provided training courses and related seminar materials to an annual average of 8,000 attendees. Currently he contributes review, script-writing and brainstorming talents, as well as marketing suggestions, to staff and customers of Reefcombers Studios.
Teresa Wippel is a communications professional with work experience covering ghost-writing opinion pieces for corporate executives, establishing and managing editorial departments for publishing companies and non-profit organizations, and providing public relations services to educational institutions, technology companies and professional associations. She founded the My Neighborhood News Network, which includes online community news websites in Edmonds, Lynnwood and Mountlake Terrace.
